Mind poison

March 29, 2014

Image

Toxins diffusing,
overwhelming the atmosphere,
the scent of death,
like a burning incense,
so memorable,
blurry
like portraits they hang,
gloom embrace.

Fire and brimstone,
disguised as a lair,
drowning in the wailing,
down in the woods-deep in the caves.
hidden in the howls,
voices in my head rehearsing for symphony orchestra,

Entering the dark realm,
seeing beyond the skull,
in the midst of the totem,
settled.
