Imprisoned within.

May 8, 2015

Their fears consuming their flesh,

Like that greedy cannibal.

A predator or a prey,

No amount of camouflage can save them.

The fire that they dread,

They secretly long for it to consume them,

To calm their raging nerves,

To contain the chaos in the world.

All the dark corners are occupied

By the demons they’re trying to elude,

The imps are gonna catch up with them,

Chain them on the gate of that castle in the air,

The castle they desire to abide in.

They know deep inside it’s beyond them.

They will be bound

Or will they?

There’s always a reason to keep drowning
