Bare Fraility

September 1, 2015

poem

Those spikes that cover you,,
overshadow you,
gives you a haven
form the dark hedges surrounding you.

you will pretend
that you can’t see them crawling,
you will pretend
that you can’t see the light peering,
you will pretend
that you cant see the stone oozing sparkling freshness.

The weapon adjacent to you
draws your subconscious.
It will hover around
till the rain droplets begin pounding your body,
soaking your bare flesh
and exposing your nudity.
